This community between Phoenix and Tucson has seen tremendous growth. It is home to the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument as well as many active communities. The San Francisco Giants used to have spring training here.
 
Wenoticed something startling when we compared the NAHB/Wells Fargo Affordability Index with another study showing the areas where 55+ folks are migrating to - there was no correlation!  Here are the top of the lists and more on why this is happening.
This coastal town of 42,000 midway down Florida's East Coast has a lower profile than many of its famous neighbors. But retirees here enjoy a revitalized downtown, great beaches, and reasonable real estate prices in many neighborhoods.
 
Today your editor is celebrating the arrival of his dear wife's 13th cozy murder mystery, "Death With All The Trimmings".  Written under her Lucy Burdette pen name, this 'foodie' mystery is set in Key West. It's just in time for the holidays (print or eBook).
